Project Details
This interesting kitchen has two types of facades. Facades with a wood texture are made of laminated chipboard. They are relief to the touch, making them look as close as possible to solid wood details. The second material for the facades is painted MDF board. The shade chosen for these details is deep and saturated. It is close in tone to the color on the wall near the kitchen set. Dark colors were chosen for the facades, but the set does not seem gloomy. This is because the countertop, which plays a significant role in the set, is light-colored. Furthermore, due to the fact that the right side panel of the cabinet, the bottom of the upper cabinets, the visible wall surface on the left, and the wall panel are white, an illusion is created, making it seem like the cabinets with blue facades are simply floating in the air and not attached to the wall. They appear completely weightless, detached from the rest of the set. This visual illusion changes the geometry, making the set look light, and the cabinets do not appear deep. The lower level cabinets, peninsulas, and the top row of modules have a depth of 60 cm. The cabinets with blue facades are made with a standard depth of 30 cm, typical for upper modules. All appliances in the project are built-in. The refrigerator is placed in a cabinet, the dishwasher is hidden in the lower row, an oven and a narrow cooking panel are installed, and a powerful hood is mounted at the top. In addition to the main part, the set includes a separate island that provides additional workspace, storage space, and also defines the space.
