Project Details
One of the popular trends today is handleless kitchens with minimal accents and details. Such kitchens look visually very harmonious and modern. The facades seem like a single cohesive element. In this example, we see a kitchen with ash veneer fronts. Veneer is made from solid wood by peeling it on special equipment. The production technology is similar in principle to sharpening a pencil with a sharpener. As a result, a thin long strip of wood is obtained, which is then veneered on an MDF panel. Since wood is a natural material, each facade has its own unique texture, making it impossible to find two identical facades! This makes the furniture unique and one-of-a-kind. In this project, the wood grain on the fronts is positioned horizontally, visually expanding the space. The fronts themselves have a fairly dark tone, yet the interior doesn’t look gloomy or boring. On the contrary, the kitchen turned out to be quite light and cozy, and the pleasant brown shade of the furniture perfectly complements the beige countertop and the rest of the room’s finish, done in light tones.
Separate from the main part of the kitchen are tall cabinets where all the necessary appliances are built in: refrigerator, freezer, oven, and microwave. Pay attention to the kitchen organization. Here, convenient pull-out drawers and spacious cabinets with hinged doors are installed. Everything will open and close smoothly and silently, as the hinges and guides have dampers. In the cabinet with the dish dryer, a durable and convenient lifting mechanism is used. This is one of the most popular solutions for this furniture element.
