Project Details
We are used to kitchens being linear, L-shaped, and U-shaped, sometimes with an island or a bar counter. A large-scale project developed by our designer involves the cooking area, dining area, corridor, and living room. With such scale, it is essential to carefully choose the decor. It is better to use restrained colors with one accent material. In this case, the accent became the texture of warm-toned wood chosen for the countertops, facades, and flooring in the living area. Behind the facades made of painted MDF with integrated handles are mechanisms with closers and built-in appliances. The pull-out drawers are complemented by a partition system with flags and a tray for utensils from the Hettich brand. The narrow cabinets have pull-out cargo systems installed. The upper facades are designed without milled handles, so some cabinets open upon a push. The kitchen area is completed with a pantry with a built-in refrigerator. To make the whole structure look solid, the visible sides of the cabinets made of particleboard are replaced with painted facades. To implement such a project, precise measurement calculations, an understanding of furniture construction, and knowledge of fittings are required.
